It Will Not Be Long
You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

Love longs for the glorious appearing of the Lord, and enjoys this sweet promise, "The coming of the Lord is at hand." We look out with hope through this window.
This sacred "window of agate" lets in a flood of light upon the present and puts us into fine condition for immediate work or suffering. Are we tried? Are we growing weary because we do not see the harvest of our seed-sowing? This glorious truth cries to us, "Be patient." Before long the Lord will be here, so establish your hearts. Be firm, be constant, abounding in the work of the Lord. Soon will you hear the trumpets that announce the coming of your King. O Lord, I pray for all the hearts who are not right with you, including my own heart. I know that I am not perfect, and You know that we are not perfect, but Lord I am asking You to help us get right with You. Make the TV mess up or the video games, or the stereo mess up if we are not listening to Your music and worshiping You. It's time to get it right in our hearts today people. All the signs are there that our Soveriegn Lord is fast approching, and if we are not right in our hearts with Him, we will be left behind to suffer with the non-believers. I don't know about you, but I don't want to get left behind. So please Lord put it upon all our hearts to want to read and pray, and worship You daily O Lord, so that not one of Your children will be left behind. This we pray and receive it in Christ Jesus' precious Name, Amen!
