Sins of Ignorance
"It shall be forgiven them, for it was unintentional."
~ Numbers 15:25
"Because of Ignorance, we may not be fully aware of our sins. We may be, as a service to God, that which He has never commanded and can never accept.
The Lord knows every unintentional sin of ignorance. This may alarm us, yet faith spies comfort, for the Lord will see to it that stains unseen by us shall yet be washed away.
Jesus, the true Priest, has made atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel. His precious blood cleanses us from all sin. Whether our eyes have seen it and wept over it or not, God has seen it, Christ has atoned for it, the Spirit bears witness to the pardon of it, and so we have a three fold peace.
Father, I praise Your divine knowledge, which perceives my iniquities, provides atonement, and delivers me from the guilt of them, even before I know that I am guilty." (By: Charles H. Spurgeon ~ One Minute Devotions)
Please pray this prayer with me this morning. Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us of our sins, our debts, and our trespasses against You and man, as we forgive those who are indebted to us, and those who have trespassed against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil: For Thine is Kingdom, and the Power, and the Honor, and the Glory, forever. It is in Christ Jesus' Precious Name, Amen!
