Faith's Checkbook (By: C.H. Spurgeon)

                                                               Always First in Fellowship

Go, tell His disciples - and Peter - that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.
                                                                                            ~ Mark 16:7

"Where He appointed to meet His disciples, there He would be. Jesus keeps His tryst. If He promises to meet us at the mercy seat, or in public worship, we may depend upon it that He will be there. We may stay away from the appointed meeting place, but He never does, "Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there" (Matt. 18:20).
Jesus is always first in fellowship: His heart is with His people, His delight is in them, He is never slow to meet them. In all fellowship He goes before us.
He reveals Himself to those who come after Him, "There you will see Him." To see Him is to be filled with joy and peace. And we shall see Him, for He promises to come to those who believe in Him and He does everything according to His word of promise, "As He said to you."" (By: Charles H. Spurgeon ~ One Minute Devotions)

  1. Thank You Lord, for keeping Your promise of having worship with us.Thank you Lord, for the fundings that You are going to provide me and my children so that we can get into a house. But most of all Thank You Lord, for just being our Father when no one else would step up and do it, especially for those who have no father or had one that lived with them, but was in and out of there lives. We give You all the honor and glory Lord, that You are so deserving of.We pray for the protection over all Your children and saints Lord that You have provided all these years for us.We pray that the mountains and stumbling blocks that have been put in our way by Satan will be moved quickly, this we ask in Christ Jesus' Precious Name, Amen!
