Fear Has Its Place
Happy is the man that feareth always.
~ Proverbs 28:14 KJV
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning and the foundation of all true religion. He is happy who feels a jealous fear of doing wrong. Holy fear looks not only before it leaps, but even before it moves. It is afraid of error, of neglecting duty, of committing sin. It fears ill company, loose talk, and questionable policy. He who foresees evil and escapes it is destroyed.
When you finally accept Jesus into your heart, the fear of the Lord is automatically there. It is something that the Lord has instilled upon your heart, to not want to sin. |
(By: Charles H. Spurgeon ~ One Minute Devotions)
To fear the Lord is an honor to do. To be one of His Children and His Chosen People is an honor and priviledge to be a part of His Lovely Kingdom one day. The things that the Lord gives us we take for granted at times, because we get lost in the worldly things. Children of God I erge you to cherish the things that God gave you, especially your children. Remember that our children are not really our own, they are God's Children loaned out to us so that we can raise them up in the way that the Lord sees fit. We are to treat our children with love and compassion, not hatred and abuse. It is the Children who make up the Kingdom of God, not us. Let me put that another way. Jesus said, we are to become like children in the heart in order to enter into the Kingdom of God. Our bodies are not our own, they are Holy Vessel loaned out to us. So we are to take care of them and not damage them or break them unto death. We are to live our lives full of love and happiness towards one another, not hatred and strife towards each other. Love for Jesus and Die for Jesus. We are to die to our carnal flesh, so that we can live a holy life in Christ Jesus. All living thing and creatures fall short from the glory of God, because of the sin that lies in our hearts. I leave you today on that note, praying that this message has at least reached some of you who have really read this. I pray that you will take it to heart and want to change your life for the good. When you make that decision to accept Jesus into your heart you'll be surprised at how much you will start to see things that you once could not see as being sinful. God Bless and have a wonderful day. IN Christ Jesus' Precious Name, Amen!
