Follow to Know

Let us know, let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
~ Hosea 6:3

  Jesus said, "Die
  to your flesh (sin).
 Lay your burdens
 down at my feet
and I will take
care of you.
Jesus is the Potter,
and you are the clay.
Let Him mold you
into the person that
God created you to be.
"Not all at once, but by degrees shall we attain to holy knowledge, little by little. We need not despair, though our progress may be slow, for the Lord will not give us up, however slow of understanding we may be. The Lord delights to make the simple wise.
To know the Triune God, this is life eternal: let us keep to this, for then we shall gain complete instruction. By following on to know the Lord, we learn healing after being torn, and life after death. Experience has its perfect work when the heart follows the trackway of the Lord.
Jesus said, "Pick up your
cross and follow me daily.
My soul, keep close to Jesus, follow on to know Him, and so you will come to the knowledge of Christ, which is the most excellent of all the sciences. The Holy Ghost will lead you into all truth. Is not this His gracious office? Rely upon Him to  fulfill it."

  1. To know the Knowledge of God is a wonderful thing. When you receive the Knowledge of God use it wisely, do not let it go to waste. If you get anything out of today's devotion, take it to heart. Have you ever felt like you have an empty space in your heart that you just can't fill? It's because you can't fill it with worldly things, only God can fill that emptiness that you are feeling and can't get rid of. Meditate on God's Word daily. Seek Him in the morning, in the noon time, and the evening. When you are out and about you see something that needs prayer, stop and pray for it right away before it slips your mind. You don't have to go up to them or the situation at hand, but find some place quiet, like your car or the bathroom and pray quietly so that no one can here you. I tell you this, because Jesus said, "Pray diligently in your prayer closet"(Paraphrased). Your prayer closet can be anywhere that there is no one to bother you. Lord, we ask this very morning that you will fill that empty space that some of us have in our hearts. We ask that You will put it upon our hearts daily to meditate on Your Word, and live it out to the fullest. This we ask in Christ Jesus' Precious Name, Amen.
