                                                                 Necessary Knowledge

"Thus they shall know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are My people," says Lord God.

  "It is one thing to hope that God is with us and another thing to know that He is so. Faith saves us, but assurance satisfies us. We take God to be our God when we believe in Him, but we get the joy of Him when we know that He is ours and we are His.
  It is when we enjoy covenant blessings and see our Lord Jesus raised up for us that we come to a clear knowledge of favor of God toward us. Not by law, but by grace, we learn that we are the Lord's people. Let us look to the Lord alone. As we see Jesus shall we see our salvation.

    Please pray this prayer with me this morning. Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us of all our sins, and our debts, an our trespasses against You and man, as we forgive those who are indebted to us, and those who have trespassed against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from all evil: For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Honor, and the Glory, forever. It is in Christ Jesus' Precious Name, Amen!
