Rest on a Promise
"The land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants."
~ Genesis 28:13
"No promise is of private interpretation: it belongs to all believers. If you can in faith lie down upon a promise, and take your rest on it, it is yours. Where Jacob rested, there he took possession. Stretching upon the ground, he little fancied that he was entering into ownership of the Lord; yet so it was. He saw in his dream that wondrous ladder that unites earth and heaven; and surely where the foot of the ladder stood he must have a right to the soil, for otherwise he could not reach the divine stairway. Every promise is ours of we will but lie down upon it in restful faith.

FORGIVE US OF ALL OUR SINS, OUR DEBTS, AND OUR TRESPASSES AGAINST YOU AND MAN, AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO ARE INDEBTED TO US, AND THOSE WHO HAVE TRESPASSED AGAINST US. AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM ALL EVIL:FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE HONOR, AND THE GLORY, FOREVER. IT IS IN CHRIST JESUS' PRECIOUS NAME, AMEN!
