God Is a Sanctuary
Thus says the Lord God: "Although I have cast them far off among the Gentiles, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet I shall be a little sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone."
~ Ezekiel 11:16
"Banished from the public means of grace, we are not removed from the grace of the means. The Lord who places His people where they feel as exiles will Himself be with them, and be to them all that they could have had at home.
God is to His people a place of refuge. They find sanctuary with Him from every adversary. He is their place of worship too. He is with them as with Jacob when he slept in the open field, and rising, said, "Surely God was in this place." To them also He will be a sanctuary of quiet, like the Holy of Hollies, which was the noiseless abode of the Eternal.
God Himself, in Christ Jesus, is the sanctuary of mercy. In God we find the shrine of holiness and of communion. What more do we need? Lord, fulfill this promise and be ever to us as a little sanctuary!" (By: Charles H. Spurgeon ~ One Minute Devotions)

PLEASE PRAY THIS PRAYER WITH ME THIS MORNING. OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME. THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. FORGIVE US OF ALL OUR SINS, OUR DEBTS, AND OUR TRESPASSES AGAINST YOU AND MAN; AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO ARE INDEBTED TO US, AND THOSE WHO HAVE TRESPASSED AGAINST US. AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM ALL EVIL:FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE HONOR, AND THE GLORY, FOREVER. IT IS IN CHRIST JESUS' PRECIOUS NAME, AMEN!
ReplyDeleteSOMETIMES WHEN WE ARE IN A PLACE THAT WE WANT TO BE AT, WE HAVE TO MOVE BECAUSE IT IS NOT WHERE GOD WANTS US AT. SOMETIMES, GOD MOVES US FROM THE PLACE THAT WE ARE AT BECAUSE OF A REASON THAT WE MAY NOT EVEN UNDERSTAND, BECAUSE OF OUR FLESH BEING IN THE WAY ALL THE TIME. WHEN GOD TELLS YOU TO PICK UP AND MOVE, HE HAS HIS REASONS. DO NOT SIT THERE AND ARGUE WITH GOD, BECAUSE WHEN YOU DISOBEY GOD'S COMMANDS TO DO SOMETHING THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING THAT HE IS TRYING TO PREVENT US FROM GOING THROUGH. BUT WHEN WE DO NOT LISTEN AND HARKEN UNTO THE LORD'S WORD THEN WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE THINGS THAT GOD WAS TRYING TO STOP. SO PLEASE HARKEN UNTO THE LORD, AND FOLLOW HIS EVERY WORD HE TELLS YOU. GOD BLESS MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF THE FAITH.
