Guardian of the Fatherless

In You the fatherless finds mercy.
                                                                                                            ~ H0sea 14:3

"This is an excellent reason for casting away all other confidences and relying upon the Lord alone. When a child is orphaned, or a man loses every object of dependence, he may cast himself upon the living God and find in Him all that he needs.
Some children who have fathers are not much better off because of them, but  the fatherless with God are rich. Better to have God and no other friend than all the patrons on the earth and no God. So long as the Lord remains he fountain of mercy to us, we re not truly orphaned. Let fatherless children plead the gracious word for this morning, and let all who have been bereaved o visible support do the same. Lord, let me find mercy in You! The more needy and helpless I am, the more confidently do I appeal to Your loving heart."

  1. Don't be afraid to talk to God about your problems. If you don't know how to pray so what. Pray to God is in a form of just talking to Him abou the things that you are concerned about, or things that you want to talk to someone about but your are afraid of what people might tink of you or what they might say to you if you said anything to them, God is the One you want to go and talk to about those kinds of things. There are severl types of prayer: There is prayer of Authority; Prayer of Agreement; Prayer of Faithful Petitions; Prayer of Thanksgiving; Prayer of Commitment; Prayer of Intercession; and Praying in Tongues, the Heavenly Language.

  2. There are seven types of simple prayers we are able to perform during the day while we go on with our lives. These are:
1.) Confession that Jehvah is the Almighty God and that Jesus is Lord of all.
2.) Supplication to God for all our needs and the needs of others to be met, including the Salvation of those who are witout the Promise of Jesus.
3.) Communion with adoration that allows us to honor the Covenant of the Grace of Christ Jesus, the Savior of us all.
4.) Intercessory prayer that allows us to pray for all who are in need of God's help and deliverance from sin and from afflictions of the enemy.
5.) Praying without ceasing, with Love for God, in order to honor, glorify, and to woship the Lord. This brings us into favor with the Lord.
6.) Prayer of Thanksgiving for all that the Lord has done for us and others and for all we know He is going to do in the future.
7.) Intimate relationship with God includes kneeling before Him in humility, worshipping His Name and His Person. It includes our recognizing the Imminence of God and our sinful nature.

For those who cannot physically get on your knees and kneel there is a spiritual kneeling that you can do. I myself am not capable of getting on my knees and kneeling due to bad knees. So I sit and I imagine that my spirit that God gave me is kneeling before God praying and praising God right along with me. And on this note, I will leave you to soak all this in. God Bless and hve a wonderful day in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, Amen.
