                                      Becoming Fit for Glory

The Lord will give grace and glory.
                                                           ~ Psalm 84:11

"Today we shall freely receive sustaining, strengthening, sanctifying grace. God has given daily grace until now; and as for the future, that grace is still sufficient. He gives liberally and without reproach.
The Lord may not give gold, but He will give grace: He may not give gain, but He will give grace. He will certainly send us trail, but He will give grace in proportion thereto. We may be called to labor and to suffer, but with the call there will come all the grace required.
What an "and" is that in the text: "and glory!" We do not need glory yet; but we shall have it in time. After we have eaten the bread of grace, we shall drink the wine of glory. These words "and glory" are enough to make a man dance for joy. A little while, a little while, and then glory forever!"

  1. PLEASE PRAY THIS PRAYER WITH ME THIS MORNING. OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME. THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. FORGIVE US OF ALL OUR SINS, OUR DEBTS, AND OUR TRESPASSES AGAINST YOU AND MAN; AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO ARE INDEBTED TO US, AND THOSE WHO HAVE TRESPASSED AGAINST US. AND LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM ALL EVIL:FOR THINE IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE HONOR, AND THE GLORY, FOREVER. IT IS IN CHRIST JESUS' PRECIOUS NAME, AMEN!
