Faith's Checkbook (By: C.H. Spurgeon)

                           Divine, Ever-Living, Unchanging

"The word of the Lord endures forever." Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
                                                                       ~ 1 Peter 1:25

"All human teaching shall pass away; but we are assured that the Word of the Lord shall endure forever.
We have a divine gospel; for what word can endure forever but that which is spoken by the eternal God?
We have an ever-living gospel, as full of vitality as when it first came from the lips of God; as strong to convince and convert, console, sustain and sanctify, as ever it was in its first days.
We have an unchanging gospel, which is not today green grass and tomorrow dry hay, but always the abiding truth of God. Opinions alter, but truth certified by God can no more change than the God who uttered it.
Here, then, we have a gospel to rejoice in. Feed on the Word today, and all the days of your life." (By: Charles H. Spurgeon ~ One Minute Devotions)

  1. God is the same as He was thousands of years ago, and He will continue to be the same today, tomorrow, and forever. It is us who does the changing, not God. Yesterday I was at a birthday party at the park, when a sister of the faith walked up and was doing the Lord's work, when she was all done and walked away the people she went and talked to was making fun of her and our Lord Jesus. I became instantly angry, because they were putting her down, but most of all they were disgracing our Lord Jesus. I was surrounded by non-believers, I was going to say something to them, when I heard a mans voice clear as day tell me be still, they will be held accountable when Judgment comes. So I just sat there listening to all of them degrating our Lord Jesus. Everyday I have to bite my tongue because I live with a non-believer, who is my husband.I am waiting for the Lord to make a way for me and my children to be able to walk away with no problems with him or his family. So brothers and sisters of the faith I ask you today, please pray for me and my children to be delivered out safely. I was told if I were to ever leave my husband that my children would be taken away from me. If you have any prayer requests for me to pray for you can either email me at hashabiah5@gmail.com or you can call me on my personal cell# 269-377-4561
